Some upcoming changes to Tibco Cloud Integration (TCI) that will affect users who rely on the Connect (Scribe) functionality. As of September 3rd, 2024, accessing and managing Scribe will transition to a new standalone location.
Here’s a breakdown of what you need to know:
- Scribe Goes Solo: Previously, you accessed Scribe functionality through TCI. Moving forward, Scribe will operate as a standalone service with its own dedicated login and management interface.
- New Scribe Location: Details on accessing this location can be found here: https://support.tibco.com/s/article/TIBCO-Cloud-Integration-Connect-to-Scribe-Online-migration-FAQ
- Action Required by September 3rd 2024: Mark your calendars! After September 3rd, logging into TCI will no longer grant access to Scribe functionality. Be sure to update your bookmarks and login routines to utilize the new standalone Scribe location.
- Administrative Changes Need a New Home: Remember those administrative tasks you used to handle through TCI for Scribe (creating users, managing organizations, etc.)? Those will also need to be performed through the new standalone Scribe location. Any administrative changes made through TCI after September 3rd will not be reflected in Scribe.
What This Means for You:
This shift to a standalone Scribe platform streamlines access and management for existing users, while allowing Tibco to focus on further development for both TCI and Scribe. The good news? You’ll still have access to the powerful integration capabilities of Scribe, just in a dedicated environment.
